Lilac Cottage : the lounge [click to enlarge]To ensure that the whole cottage is kept warm and cosy during the cooler months of the year, all the windows are double-glazed and the heating system is run by a wood-burning stove in the lounge.
Inside, the cottage is bright and spacious - and exposed oak beams have been stylishly incorporated into the modern décor. Downstairs, the cottage has an open-plan living room with a lounge area and a kitchen/dining area. Lilac Cottage : the kitchen [click to enlarge]The large, modern kitchen has built-in oak kitchen units and is fully equipped with a multi-function built-in electric oven, a gas hob, a microwave, a large fridge-freezer and a dishwasher. A washing machine, an iron and an ironing board are also provided.
The lounge is comfortably furnished and is equipped with a DVD/CD player and satellite television (free-to-air BBC, ITV & Sky News channels). Lilac Cottage : shady rear garden & patio [click to enlarge]From the lounge, French windows lead out to the patio and private back garden. Equipped with garden furniture and a barbecue, the shady patio is perfect for alfresco breakfasts, leisurely lunches and barbecue suppers away from the heat of the sun.

Lilac Cottage : one of two bedrooms [click to enlarge]Lilac Cottage has two bedrooms. One bedroom is furnished with a king-size bed - the other bedroom is furnished with a double bed. All bedding, bath towels and pool towels are provided, together with a hairdryer. Adjacent to the bedrooms is a large shower room with a rectangular walk-in shower, a hand basin and a toilet.

Cottage garden & orchard [click to enlarge]From the courtyard, steps alongside an ancient well lead up to the front garden and orchard. Sunloungers have been provided for sunbathing - but they can also be moved under the lime blossom tree if you prefer to be in the shade.
