This delightful country cottage is named after the many lilac trees which surround it.

Inside, the cottage is bright and spacious with a floor space of approximately 85 m². Exposed oak beams and stonework (incorporating the original 18th century bread oven) have been stylishly incorporated into the modern décor.

From the sunny courtyard, step inside to the open-plan living area. To the left is the spacious lounge with wood-burning stove which runs the heating system and to the right is the large fully equipped kitchen-diner.

Beyond the lounge, through the French windows is your own private garden and shaded patio, which is perfect for alfresco dining.

From the dining area, the cottages’ original oak staircase leads you to the two bedrooms, shower room and a mezzanine area with additional seating.

The south-facing, walled courtyard at the front of the cottage is a real sun trap and ideal for a spot of sunbathing.

From the courtyard, steps alongside an ancient well lead up to an additional garden and beyond to the orchard, all of which are for your own private use.
