Situated in the northern Dordogne in the "Périgord Vert", the property is close to the borders of the Haute-Vienne and the Charente. Woodland walk [click to enlarge]Les Chênes is actually within the Périgord-Limousin Regional Park. There are numerous walks through the Park’s woods and forests - and route markers show you where to go. Some of the walks are nearby and are accessible from Les Chênes on foot, so there’s no need to move the car. As you stroll along, look out for butterflies, plants and wild flowers which flourish in the area, as well as hoopoes, buzzards, golden orioles, eagles and other birds. You may even spot a deer!

Oak Tree Barn [click to enlarge]The property is set in nearly four acres (1½ hectares) of completely private grounds. With plenty of space to relax in and enjoy the tranquillity of Les Chênes, chill out in your own private garden or take a stroll through the meadow and laze in the shadow of the ancient walnut tree.
